Interchangeable Cartridges for MFC and LOW

All interangeable cartridges are designed for the maximum torque of the respective drive cylinder. This is particularly important when working with accessories such as square adapters or Allen inserts. With the help of the dimensions BR and A, you can in most cases judge in advance which interchangeable cartridges are absolutely necessary for your applications and where you can work with a cheaper hexagonal reducer insert. can be used. Other spanner sizes than the metric standard sizes listed in the table are of course also available. Please contact us for inch sizes or special shapes. If the radii are too large for your application, please contact us and we will decide, depending on the required maximum torque, whether a reduced wall thickness is feasible.

Hexagon reducing inserts

Our hexagonal reducers are available in any size. However, it is recommended to keep a minimum wall thickness of 5 mm. Depending on the application, thinner reducers can also be used - but please contace us.

In a few bolting cases, the reaction arm attached to the hydraulic wrench can cannot be supported. Suitable support is extremely important to avoid breakage of the square drive and further damage to the mechanics. A customised bolting analysis as well as the design and manufacture of such special supports is offered by BAHCO.
