Automatic Screw Feeding Systems: Flexibility for Manual Workstations & Automation
Maximize your production capacities with our adaptable feeding technology. Our automatic screw feeding systems from the SL 1210-L, SL 2002-L, and SL 2002-L-2 series are designed to meet the growing demands of modern manufacturing. They combine high speed with industry-leading flexibility.
Investment Protection Through Modular Adaptation
Thanks to the ability to convert the system for different screw sizes, you remain fully operational even when changing products. This secures your investment in the long term and reduces future procurement costs.
Your Advantages at a Glance
- Dual Application: Designed for use with handheld screwdrivers or for seamless integration into automated systems.
- Elimination of Non-Productive Time: Eliminates the time-consuming manual picking and positioning of screws.
- High-Speed Feeding: High cycle rates achieved by shooting the screw directly in front of the blade using compressed air.
- Precision in Continuous Operation: Constant feed rates guarantee a smooth and fluid assembly process.
Functionality & Efficiency
The automated provision of fasteners allows you to work faster, more ergonomically, and with greater process reliability. The system detects when the fastening process is complete and immediately supplies the next screw.
Applications
These automatic screw feeders ensure highly efficient production. They are widely used in electronics manufacturing, the automotive sector, and general mechanical engineering. This feeding technology is designed for all industries where efficiency and precision are critical.

Operating Principle: Precise Screw Escapement & Feeding
The automated process of our feeding systems ensures a seamless material flow from storage to the actual fastening process.
Efficient Conveying via Vibratory Bowl Feeders
The screws are transferred from a chute into the vibratory bowl feeder, where they are gently and reliably conveyed into the guide rail. In the subsequent escapement stage, the fasteners are precisely separated.
Automated Blow-Feeding
Following the escapement, the screws are shot individually via compressed air through the feed tube directly to the screwing tool. The signal to trigger the next screw can be configured flexibly:
- Manual: Directly via the handheld tool on the screwdriver.
- External: Via a signal from your PLC or system controller (ideal for fully automated production lines).
Modular Design for Every Requirement
We offer three different configurations to match your assembly workstations:
- Single-Shot Models: Two models featuring a single escapement (SL 2002-L and SL 1210-L).
- Dual Feeding System: One model featuring two independent escapements. This allows a single feeding unit to supply two separately operating screwdrivers, providing a highly space-saving solution (SL 2002-L-2).

Options
Mechanical guide for feeding the screws, at two different screw points.

Depth stop
Shut-off of the screwdriver at a certain depth. Especially for applications in wood, where a leveling of the screw head on the surface must be achieved.
Adaptation to screwdrivers
Standard adaptation to screwdrivers with external thread on the front housing. Special adaptations for all common screwdriving tools is possible.
Stroke extension
The standard stroke of the handpiece is designed, that screws can be screwed against a flat surface. For deeper screw points, the stroke can be extended individually.
Feeder in special design
Version with higher feet, e.g. for mounting a guide

Versions with terminal box for external control.

Mouthpieces for different applications
Standard mouthpiece:
Two jaws hold the head of the screw. Optionally, a lock is possible, which prevents the immersion of the screw in the mouthpiece. This allows a better setting of the screw on the workpiece. Standard mouthpiece is used where the screw can be placed on a flat surface and where there is enough space for the jaws to open laterally

Mouthpiece with ball sleeve:
The screw head is held by balls. In confined spaces, poor accessibility or the use of a screw template, this mouthpiece is ideal.
Further special mouthpieces are available on request.
